Description

Nature and the deep woods are THE place to be - we are excited to host you at the resort!  Coadys' Point of View Lake Resort & Campgrounds is considered an essential business - we are open and following the state's health and safety directive for lodging and camping businesses. And, we have improved our cleaning routine even further to ensure your stay is safe and healthy. Our goal is to help support guests to continue to social distance while here to ensure your stay is as healthy and as fun as can be!

AMENITIES: POV is more than a campgrounds, it is a resort.  We have 14 secluded campsites and glamping luxury tents nestled in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest.  (Glamping = "glamorous campging").  10 of the campsites are "bring your own tent" campsites, and the remaining 4 sites are luxury tents where we provide the tent and all of the furnishings. A water station is also available on the exterior of the restrooms. Our base rates include more amenities than you would expect from any other Northwoods campground experience, including access to the newly-renovated Rec Room, the Kids' Clubhouse, playground, basketball court, horseshoes, sand volleyball, hiking trails, private sandy beach and swim platform, boat launch, and coin-operated laundry. Kayaks, canoes, paddleboats, and paddleboards are available for free for all guests' use.  Currently our Rec Room and Kids Clubhouse are closed as we are following state guidance through the pandemic.

Pontoon and fishing boats are available for rent on-site. There is also a general store on site for guests' needs selling bait, frozen meals, pantry items, beer/wine/spirits, other beverages, toiletries, ice, and firewood. We do have high-speed wifi throughout the main resort (area next to the campgrounds) as well as great ATT and Verizon cell service - so if you need to send an email or stream a movie in the rec room on a rainy day, we've got you covered.

BATHROOMS: The campground boasts a new air-conditioned restroom trailer with four private bathrooms with sinks, hot showers, and toilets. We clean it twice daily and have left Lysol and disinfectant spray in each unit in the event guests want to spray them down ahead of use.

ORIENTATION: We have purposely kept our campsites rustic to minimize disturbing the woods - we took down as few trees as possible to keep the forest intact. Camping at POV isn't typical northwoods seclusion - our campsites are cozy but not on top of each other. We feel the amenities on-site and the beauty of the forest and surrounding area more than make up for the snug nature of the campgrounds. With this goal, there isn't enough turnaround for most RVs, travel trailers, and boat trailers in the campgrounds. We allow for *SMALL* campers in Campsites 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, and 13. The lengths of campers in these campsites should not to exceed 25 feet (due to small turn radius). Generators are only allowed in the campgrounds area if they have silent technology (same as state campgrounds) to keep the sound to a minimum for all guests. The campgrounds is much more oriented to tents than RVs.

PETS: Pets are not allowed in the campgrounds to keep sounds to a minimum.

QUIET HOURS: POV is a family-oriented campgrounds, and we ask everyone respect the relaxing nature of the woods. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am daily.

Glamping

My husband and I first visited POV in July 2020 and since we loved it so much we booked a return stay over the Labor Day weekend. The tent is spacious and very accommodating. Love the futon option for any additional sleeping arrangements. The camping spots are nice and quiet with an option for a large camp fire gathering in the nearby field. I also enjoyed the beach and access to free kayaks and canoes. I highly recommend it.

My sister really enjoyed staying in the Yurt. It was very comfortable . Only complaint would be so people with disabilities can stay there is to add a step with a railing to the deck.. definitly will stay there again

Glamping for 3

This was the first time that we took our toddler camping - it was a bit scary, but we decided that we wanted to start camping with him as we used to camp 6-8 times a summer before babies! It was so much fun! He had a great time sleeping in the luxury tent with us & our campsite was really perfect for our family. We were there during a weekend that no one else was there, which was nice during these COVID times. This was genuinely a lovely campsite & time for us! We definitely will be returning again!

Awesome stay - perfect getaway!

WOW!! What an amazing place - so glad we found you! The yurt was great - a new adventure for us we really enjoyed the stay. Our boys are 7 & 12 and had an awesome few days of fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and camp fires. The Coady’s were extremely helpful before & during our stay. There was a little mix up with our boat booking but this was sorted out super fast and they were very accommodating. We loved the responsiveness as all communication & store ordering is online due to Covid. They are online almost all the time!! 😀 I was a little concerned about bathroom facilities during Covid but there were plenty of cleaning products to use and we felt comfortable they were taking all precautions. Book your stay today - you will not be disappointed!!

We had a great 2 night stay! The campground has so many fun things to offer and we loved how wooded the campsites were. Made you feel like you were in the middle of nowhere.

We recently visited the resort for our first family camping trip with friends. It was a beautiful resort that is in a wonderful location. The kids loved swimming and fishing off the docks. Having use of all the water equipment was great! We truly enjoyed our visit and will be back again.

Happy Camper!

This campground was incredible!! The A Frame tent was way bigger than I expected and the bed and futon were very comfortable! The inside of the tent was well kept and the bed linens were clean. Bathrooms were clean, water was warm & the owners were nothing short of amazing! I have already recommended this campground to friends and family! Adult or kid friendly, so many things to do! I will definitely be going back!

re: Clamping

Camping at POV Resort was a real treat. The A frame tent was great and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the futon was large and comfortable with lots of room for all of our gear. The tent campsite for our kids was perfect and in close proximity. The property is beautiful and we loved the lake with all the toys, kayaks, boats, and boards. The kids loved jumping off the dock. We took a Pontoon boat on the lake to fish and tube, boy was that a hit with the kiddos. The owners are super nice, accommodating and helpful with all our questions and request. Hopefully we can get back there again.
