Glamping Site Info
Nature and the deep woods are THE place to be - we are excited to host you at the resort! Coadys' Point of View Lake Resort & Campgrounds is considered an essential business - we are open and following the state's health and safety directive for lodging and camping businesses. And, we have improved our cleaning routine even further to ensure your stay is safe and healthy. Our goal is to help support guests to continue to social distance while here to ensure your stay is as healthy and as fun as can be!
AMENITIES: POV is more than a campgrounds, it is a resort. We have 14 secluded campsites and glamping luxury tents nestled in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. (Glamping = "glamorous campging"). 10 of the campsites are "bring your own tent" campsites, and the remaining 4 sites are luxury tents where we provide the tent and all of the furnishings. A water station is also available on the exterior of the restrooms. Our base rates include more amenities than you would expect from any other Northwoods campground experience, including access to the newly-renovated Rec Room, the Kids' Clubhouse, playground, basketball court, horseshoes, sand volleyball, hiking trails, private sandy beach and swim platform, boat launch, and coin-operated laundry. Kayaks, canoes, paddleboats, and paddleboards are available for free for all guests' use. Currently our Rec Room and Kids Clubhouse are closed as we are following state guidance through the pandemic.
Pontoon and fishing boats are available for rent on-site. There is also a general store on site for guests' needs selling bait, frozen meals, pantry items, beer/wine/spirits, other beverages, toiletries, ice, and firewood. We do have high-speed wifi throughout the main resort (area next to the campgrounds) as well as great ATT and Verizon cell service - so if you need to send an email or stream a movie in the rec room on a rainy day, we've got you covered.
BATHROOMS: The campground boasts a new air-conditioned restroom trailer with four private bathrooms with sinks, hot showers, and toilets. We clean it twice daily and have left Lysol and disinfectant spray in each unit in the event guests want to spray them down ahead of use.
ORIENTATION: We have purposely kept our campsites rustic to minimize disturbing the woods - we took down as few trees as possible to keep the forest intact. Camping at POV isn't typical northwoods seclusion - our campsites are cozy but not on top of each other. We feel the amenities on-site and the beauty of the forest and surrounding area more than make up for the snug nature of the campgrounds. With this goal, there isn't enough turnaround for most RVs, travel trailers, and boat trailers in the campgrounds. We allow for *SMALL* campers in Campsites 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, and 13. The lengths of campers in these campsites should not to exceed 25 feet (due to small turn radius). Generators are only allowed in the campgrounds area if they have silent technology (same as state campgrounds) to keep the sound to a minimum for all guests. The campgrounds is much more oriented to tents than RVs.
PETS: Pets are not allowed in the campgrounds to keep sounds to a minimum.
QUIET HOURS: POV is a family-oriented campgrounds, and we ask everyone respect the relaxing nature of the woods. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am daily.
